Welcome to The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL )

The core priorities of CATL are to provide:

professional development, programs and resources to enhance teaching and learning;
eLearning development and support, including oversight of the University’s Learning Management System (LMS) (WebCT)
Evaluation of teaching processes, support and advice
cross-university collaboration in teaching and learning, including the CATLyst network;
input into the formulation of University policies and practices in teaching and learning; and
research and scholarship in teaching and learning;

The Centre reports to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning) and is located at Love House (Cnr Cooper St and Broadway)

The Graduate School of Education is pleased to announce that the new Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching will be open for enrolments in 2010.

This new course provides current tertiary teaching staff with a formal qualification that testifies to their professionalism as teaching academics.
