UWA Teaching and Learning Research Colloquium

As part of Teaching and Learning Month 2009, the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Support Office are pleased to host the inaugural Teaching and Learning Research Colloquium to provide an opportunity for UWA staff to share their teaching and learning research and scholarship with their peers. The one-day colloquium will include a number of parallel presentation streams to showcase the teaching and learning research and scholarship occurring at UWA. The keynote address will be made by Associate Professor Janice Orrell, School of Education, Flinders University. Her research fields are assessment in higher education, work-integrated learning and the induction of academics to various aspects of their role, namely, teaching, Higher Degree supervision and research.
