eLearning Development and Support

CATL supports staff who use a variety of information communication technologies (ICT) and other flexible teaching strategies.  Workshops and training sessions are typically customised to address local needs and focus.  We also provide one-on-one training sessions and support.

Staff Orientation to WebCT 6

Description:

A hands-on overview of the new version of WebCT for all staff who use WebCT 6.  You will learn how to gain access to WebCT, manage your units, navigate the Virtual Course Environment and gain access to eLearning support.

Foundations of WebCT Design

Description:

A hands-on introduction to designing a WebCT unit for all staff who use WebCT to deliver or administer WebCT units. You will learn how to add and remove course tools to your unit, communicate with your students and distribute course materials.

One-on-One Training Sessions

Description:

Customised and personally delivered training sessions are available to any UWA staff members.  These sessions are designed for those staff who are unable to attend group training sessions or for thos who wish to explore some aspect of eLearning in more depth.
