What counts as evidence of good teaching?
Intended Audience:This session is for all academic and sessional teaching staff at UWA, particularly those constructing teaching portfolios or teaching award submissions. Workshop Description:The strength of a teaching portfolio or award submission often rests on the quality of evidence provided to support it. This session will examine what constitutes robust evidence. It is a good follow-up to 'Developing your Teaching Portfolio'. Intended Outcomes:At the end of the session, you will: - better understand the importance of evidence within your teaching portfolio or award submission.
- know the different types of evidence you should provide.
- be aware of the appropriate issues of confidentiality involved in using certain types of evidence.
- be familiar with the best ways to present your evidence.

- examination of exemplars
