Group Work in Problem Based Learning

Intended Audience:

This workshop is a follow-up to An Introduction to Problem-Based Learning.

Workshop Description:

This workshop is recommended to those implementing PBL activities into their teaching as it addresses some of the specific considerations, particularly related to group work, that are likely to arise.

Intended Outcomes:

At the completion of this workshop you should be able to:

  • Describe the basic principles of PBL;
  • Describe basic principles of group work in PBL;
  • Describe basic principles feedback in PBL;
  • Apply the principles to your chosen discipline.

Duration:

3 hours
