Managing Academic Conduct @ UWA
Intended Audience:This session is for all staff (professional, research and teaching) at UWA who have an interest in, or are required to deal with, instances of academic misconduct amongst students. Workshop Description:UWA set ethical scholarshop as a high priority for all its students. Policies, procedures and resources are in place to support this. In this workshop, you will be introduced to these so that your understanding of your role in the management of academic conduct and misconduct is clear. Intended Outcomes:At the end of the session, you will: - have a better understanding of the policy and procedures and resources in place at UWA to manage academic misconduct amongst students.
- understand your role and duty in the process.
- be able better direct students towards resources that will assist them in understanding their ethical responsibilities.
- be able to implement some initiatives in your own dealings with students that will enhance levels of academic integrity.
