Workshops

Teaching and Learning Orientation and Induction

All staff with teaching or teaching support roles are encouraged to attend the annual Teaching and Learning orientation in February. CATL also runs information sessions about academic conduct policy at UWA. All new teaching staff are expected to undertake Foundations of University Teaching and learning – see programmes for more details

The Centre offers support and advice to staff undertaking student evaluations of their teaching (SPOT) and on using Peer Review. Workshops and resources are currently under development

The Centre provides advice and support for staff preparing their teaching portfolios or applying for grants / awards. One-on-one support is also available. Workshops are currently being developed to assist staff with peer review of teaching.
