The Communication Skills Framework is a conceptual framework for the coherent, incremental, explicit and cyclic development of students’ communication skills.
The framework is accompanied by a brief guide to developing Communication Skills units and embedding communication skills into New Courses 2012.
The framework was conceptualised and developed by W/Prof Denise Chalmers, Ms Siri Barrett-Lennard and Assoc/Prof Nancy Longnecker, for the Communication Skills Working Party as part of the Future Framework reforms.
