Resources in the T&LC

  • a video recorder and monitor to allow viewing of material currently held by the Centre, such as the recently produced series on Lecturing, Tutorials, Practicals and Assessment
  • a Macintosh and PC with assorted application software and tutorial packages (spreadsheets, wordprocessing), typing tutor, software for computer generated overhead projector transparencies (and hardware that will allow familiarity with their projection)
  • hand out material from Centre programmes
  • copies of book and journal material from the Centre's exisiting Resource Collection
  • work space for private study and the development of teaching and learning materials
  • advisory service, on demand, with respect to an individual's particular development needs

  • refer to collections of on-line 'teaching tips' from within the University and externally as well

Access to the World Wide Web

  • experience the use of the WWW for Teaching and Learning
