Flexible Teaching and Learning Support Services

The following local centres at UWA have developed expertise and skills in order to contribute support services to teaching staff in the area of flexible program delivery.

Advance Education

Advance Education (AE) has developed a fully diagnostic web-based computer-based tutorial system for maths, engineering and science subjects, the Jellyfish tutorial environment. Free software and support is available to UWA staff as well as assistance in developing tutorial sets and innovative problem types. Arts Multimedia Centre

Arts Multimedia provides cost-effective support for online teaching and learning, focussing particularly on communication issues and assisting teaching staff to investigate and implement ways of meeting their pedagogical needs with technology. DUIT Multimedia

DUIT Multimedia applies the latest knowledge and techniques to solve marketing, training and learning needs. DUIT designs and develops high-quality interactive programs for Web and cross-platform CD-ROM delivery that focus upon creativity and outcomes. Medicine and Dentistry Education Centre

The Medicine and Dentistry Education Centre provide support for integrated curriculum development, staff training programs, web development, instructional design, problem based learning, and assistance with assessment and evaluation. Image Acquisition and Analysis Facility (IAAF)
