Keynote added
Professor Richard Johnstone, Foundation Executive Director of the Carrick Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education has accepted our invitation to deliver a keynote address at the Forum.

Focus on Engineering Teaching and Learning
In collaboration with the Australian Association for Engineering Education (AAEE), there will be a "Focus on Engineering Teaching and Learning" stream. Papers and abstracts addressing engineering education specific issues will be grouped together.
Further details will be provided when the program begins to take shape.

Best Presentation
The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at UWA is offering a prize for the Best Presentation at the Forum. The Forum is designed to provide opportunities for dialogue about teaching and learning. This dialogue should happen both in formal sessions as well as during the breaks and social activities. The prize is offered to encourage presenters to engage participants in a dialogue and to demonstrate good teaching practice.

The Best Presentation will be rated on

  • The presentation engages the audience as active participants
  • The presentation effectively communicates key ideas to the audience.
  • The presentation encourages participants to develop their ideas and understandings in relation to the conference themes.
