Types of presentations

Presentation Options

The TL Forum's types of presentations are outlined below. Please note that at its discretion, using advice from external reviewers if available and appropriate, the Committee may offer proposers a type of presentation other than the one nominated.
 

Type

Format

Paper

Thought-provoking papers that address the Forum theme are welcomed.

10 minute presentation followed by a 15 minute discussion

Workshop

A hands-on interactive opportunity for professional development in teaching and learning.

90 minutes

Activity Session

Presentations may take the form of a print poster, web-based poster, demonstration or "bright idea". A session will be set aside during the Forum for discussion with participants. Posters and web-based materials may also be displayed throughout the two days of the Forum.  

Pearls, Piths & Perils

There will be an opportunity to engage in loosely structured dialogue based around a number of current topics in teaching and learning which we are calling Pearls, Piths and Perils.
